That should be an easy jump... you know from Javascript/Typescript to C++ or C# within a game engine. The AR/VR hype is over and done as well, although it is trying to come back in a way... it is not the same. Honestly, if you think a person from a boot camp that worked as a front end developer would just easily transition to any of these fields you must be insane.

Front end development has been dead for a long time with the introduction of frameworks like Vuetify or UI components on React. The front ends are being overly complicated now by moving the GraphQL queries (moving the backend to the front end, the 2022-2024 trend) to it... which is a giant issue for security and performance (have you seen how many libraries are downloaded now on most websites). I know some of the comments here come from Front end developers shocked at this, but this should not be a surprise. For most web development you can get away by just having a UI designer sketch something, then leverage components, and be done with it.
