It is still Flat, Material / Metro-ish... We need UIs, but what we don't need is to be rewriting our UIs every 5 years. Look at the Javascript mess with the frameworks that go popular and then disappear. It looks great, because these are all simple interfaces... but there is more complexity outside of this fancy screenshots that needs to be supported. It looks nice, but for enterprise B2B apps I use Delphi + Skia4Delphi and has worked really well... to which I decided to learn after years of using Android (java/kotlin), iOS (Swift), Flutter for cross-platform, and building web based tools for the desktop.
